Materials behind the craft
Solid Gold
I use high-quality gold in every piece I create, with options in 10k gold (41.7% gold), 14k gold (58.3% gold), and 18k gold (75% gold). All of the gold I use is SCS-Certified, meaning it is sourced from both post-consumer and pre-consumer materials. Independently verified by SCS Global Services, this certification upholds strict standards for recycled and responsibly sourced gold. It ensures that the solid gold in my jewelry is both environmentally conscious and ethically obtained, allowing me to craft beautiful, durable pieces with integrity.
Gold Filled
Gold filled wire is made through a mechanical bonding process. A thick layer of 14-karat gold (5% of the wire's total weight) is permanently bonded to a base metal, typically brass, using heat and pressure. This process creates a durable and long-lasting material where the gold layer is securely attached, ensuring it does not flake or peel off under normal wear conditions.

Sterling Silver
The sterling silver I use is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, certified to meet the standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). This certification reflects a commitment to ethical sourcing, addressing environmental, social, financial, and regulatory responsibilities.

Argentium
The Argentium silver I use contains 94% pure silver, with the remaining 6% composed of metals like copper and a touch of germanium. Germanium is a unique metal that enhances the silver by forming a protective layer, significantly reducing tarnish while boosting durability and maintaining a lasting shine.
