14k Solid Gold French Hook Earwires

14K Solid Gold Shepherd French Hooks - (sold by the pair)

I made these Shepherd ear wires using 20 gauge 14k solid wire. The ends were balled and the hammered flat to resemble a nail. The ends have also been hammered to give them a flared look then sanded and smoothed for a nice comfortable fit. Lastly, they are polished to a beautiful shine!

Approximate Measurements:
Front length: 7/8" (22mm)
Width of top: 3/8" (10mm)
Back Length: 1 1/8" (29mm)

***Please note, I do not put a purity stamp on these 14k gold ear wires. Due to how thin ear wires are, the purity stamp would distort the ear wire and look more like a blemish or scratch.***

The ear hooks you see in the photos were made using 20g 14k gold wire.

I make each of these ear wires by hand, please expect that there may be some slight variations from pair to pair.

Not sure which gauge to choose from?
22 gauge: This is what you typically see at the stores. If you are looking for something lightweight this is it.
21 gauge: A happy medium between the two, lightweight enough to fit most ears comfortably yet durable.
20 gauge: Very sturdy, holds its shape very well.
